...Stained Teeth...

Have you ever thought about your teeth? They start out as pretty as a porcelain cup only to turn dirty and dingy looking after cola, tea, smoke, highly pigmented foods that slosh over them three or more times a day. After all this they tell a woeful story of stains.
Some tips:

1. Brush after every meal or everytime you eat. It makes for less of a chance to get stains on your teeth.

2. Rinse those buggers, and rinse, and rinse again after every meal or everytime you eat.

3. Use mouth wash that has a antibacterial action. This will reduce plaque.

4. Polish them with baking soda. Mix baking soda with enough hydrogen peroxide to make a toothpaste - like consistency. Then just brush those stains away. Try to keep this solution off your gums as much as possible, and be sure not to use to much peroxide, as it can cause some burning. Please keep away from children. I know they have toothpaste like this over the counter, but they are not strong enough to do what this will.

...Under Stress...

Whipped, burned, beaten - I know you know what it feels like to be on the battleground of our day-to-day struggles. It sometimes feels like an endless circle where getting ahead, and staying there is like a dim light at the end of a long tunnel. It leaves us with very little energy for what the rest of every day life has to offer us.

Here are the best tips that work for me:

1. Work on your attitude: The important thing to remember about stress is that in most cases it's not whats out there that's the problem, it's how you react to it. In other words, start thinking more positive thoughts.

2. Learn to relax: Easier said than done? Try this. Starting from the top to the bottom, thinking of each part of your body as you go along, tense it up, then let it relax. When your done with each part just lay there and enjoy the sweet release it provides.

3. Drink Fruta Vida juice: Fruta Vida juice is called the fruit of life for a reason. It is all natural yet has properties that can get you through a bout of stress like magic. I drink an oz. or two every day, and it really works.

You can purchase a bottle of Fruta Vida juice here without the hassle of a business opportunity being thrown at you. http://www.tryfrutavida.com/2248481

...Phobias and Fears...

You have Agoraphobics, you have Claustrophobics, and then you have Panophobics. Agoraphobics, of course, rarely go anywhere. They suffer a fear of being separated from safe persons and places, and some won't even leave their houses. Claustrophobics, on the other hand hate being confined, and then Panophobics fear everything.

There are these types - Simple phobias, social phobias, and agoraphobia. Simple phobia is dread of an object, place, or situation. Social phobias are people who avoid parties, large groups of people, or public situations period. They are afraid of doing something that would embarrass themselves.

Agoraphobics are victims of a complex phenomenon based on a fear of strange places. A few coping measures for you.

1. Try to reverse your negative thinking, change those scary thoughts on purpose into positive fearless thoughts.

2. Come face-to-face with fear. Avoiding your fear will prevent you from overcoming it.

3. Make sure you pat yoursef on the back when you have managed to function successfully with a level of fear. It's a big achievement.

4. Keep your body healthy also. Eat nutritional foods, and drink plenty of juices.

...Backache...

Any Pain-Free Ideas, you bet there is. One of the laws of physics is, the heavier something is, the more often you'll have to move it.
Heres a few tips for your backaches:

1. Rest that over worked back, but don't lounge to long let the pain be your guide.

2. Get into the pool. Swimming is great for the back.

3. Use heat & cold, alternating both every 30 to 60 seconds will make you feel better.

4. Sometimes just curling up in a fetal position for a little while can ease that cramped up back. Even some moderate exercise can help from time to time.

...HangOver...

When you have partied hearty, had a drink ripping time, and wake the next morning thinking that the tweety birds tweeting outside your window are cawing vultures through loudspeakers, and sunlight feels like acid on your eyes-you're sure to be-regrettably, definitely avoidably, but absolutely hung over. The question is: What can you do about it? Unfortunately, not a whole lot. There is no one thing that cures a hang over but time.
But there is some things you can do to relieve the symptoms.

1. Drink fruit juice, Preferably Fruta Vida - Juices contain natural sugar, which helps the body burn alcohol faster.

2. Another natural way is to chew on Willow bark. It works like asprin in getting rid of the hang over headache.

3. Be sure to replenish your water supply, and take vitamin B complex.

4. Eat a good nutrient rich meal. Yet keep it light so it doesn't come back up.

I hope this helps you through the holiday season.

...Holiday Stress...

Holiday Stress is just like a roller coaster ride. We are all under stress but just reacting to it very differently: Bad Stress, Good Stress, and No Stress.
For the Bad Stress: Take a mental vacation: Visualize yourself lying on a beach in warm sand, somewhere in the Bahamas of course, a cool wind blowing in off the ocean, and the surf rolling in quietly in the back ground. Yet you could also recite a litany like: Theres no place I have to go at this moment in time. I have no gifts to buy at this moment in time. I have no relatives coming over at this moment in time...etc...
Now for the Good Stress: Have a blast and enjoy it, it doesn't seem to happen very often.
For the No Stress: It's time to worry. You need to do more things, live life a little.
To cover it all though is to just take a break, count to ten, rest some place quiet for awhile. Be sure to still eat right, and get proper nutrition into your body. Maybe just maybe after the holidays you wont feel like a left over pizza roll....

...Motion Sickness...

Some doctors say that motion sickness stems from imbalances in the inner ear. But some also say motion sickness-at least on land-is primarily visual. Yet it has nothing to do with having bad eye sight. It has to do with a matter of sensitivity to rapid eye movements and seeing motion.

Here's a few age old all natural tips:

1. Ginger root. Two powdered ginger root capsules. Ginger works, by absorbing acids and blocking nausea.

2. Olives. Olives produce chemicals called tannins, which make your mouth dry. So eating a few at the first hint of nausea can help diminish it.

I really think it's cool, that we seem to have a plant for just about everything. Especially if you are looking for a natural way to cure or treat illnesses.

...Did You Know...

...........Little Known Facts and Idea's............
1. Did you know that live Cultures in yogurt will help fight infection and help you stay healthy.
2. Did you know that simple sunblock on the lips can prevent sun-induced cold sores from sprouting.
3. Did you know new research suggests that the Flu shots not only prevent in influenza viral infections, but if taken yearly by older adults, it can also power up the immune system so that it's just as potent as younger folks.
4. Did you know lying on your left side after a meal can prevent heartburn. The reasoning for this is that the stomach is lower when lying on your left side, and the stomach acid will pool and not go anywhere.
5. Did you know people who get high levels of vitamin C every day may live longer by reducing their heart disease risk.

I just thought I'd share these interesting tidbits....

...Belly Fat Busting...

Do you have a potbelly, that will shake like a bowl full of Jelly when you laugh? Does it persist despite round after round of gut-busting situps? Has it swelled to an even bigger size after a deprivation diet? Well don't despair, it's not as immovable as you think. Whats really weird is that men are more prone to develop a potbelly than women are. And while genetics and hormones do appear to play a role, there is evidence that everyday behaviors are also to blame for those potbellies.
This is the best Potbelly Busting plan I can find as of yet:

1. Lay off the beer. There really is such a thing as a beer belly, it seems. In a study of 1,628 men and women, those who drank two or more beers a day had the largest potbellies.
2. Exercise. I know who wants it right? Yet studies show that walking, gardening, digging in your garden, vigorous activity, and aerobic sustained activity will burn the fat off that potbelly.
3. Don't combine simple sugars with your fats in your diet when you eat. Like eating a burger and fries with a coke. The coke contains the simple sugars that releases a lot of insulin that open up fat storage cells, making them ready to store fat. Then here comes the burger and fries, and bingo the fat is stored.
4. After weight loss make sure you firm up them tummy muscles by doing some crunches, at least 30 a day.

...Acid Reflux Disease...

Acid Reflux is when the contents of your stomach backs up into your esophagus. This liquid from your stomach is acid and the enzyme called pepsin, which breaks down the proteins in the stomach for digestion. This liquid can also contain bile that has backed up from the small intestine that is attached to the stomach. Yet before you go running to your Doctor, try this.

1. Use gravity. When lying down or going to bed sleep in a reclined position so the acid stays in your stomach not in your esophagus.
2. For your evening meal eat a smaller amount so the stomach isn't distended, and also eat a little earlier than you normally do. This may reduce the amount of reflux acid by the time you go to bed. The reason is because by the time you go to bed your smaller earlier meal should have digested already.
3. You should also avoid drinking alcohol, and caffeinated drinks late in the evening.
4. Last but least, lets face it. Antacids will become your # 1 mainstay of treatment for fast releif.
