...Cancer Causing Agents...

The United States federal government recently added more items to it's list of likely or known cancer- causing agents.
They are now telling us that viruses which cause liver disease are also linked to cancer. Yet why would that be suprising? The liver is the organ in the body which filters out all of the poisons. If it's diseased, it can't do it's job now can it?
Viruses that causes sexually transmitted diseases have also made the list. Then so did approximtely 188 paint and industrial chemicals, and house cleaners, sanitizing, and perfuming. At this increditable rate we may as well turn the clock back about 100 years to avoid getting cancer. Truly not realistic when looking at it that way.
The best and only tip I can offer is that you take the time to do a little research on nutritional foods that you can eat to counter act all of the above, or at least gain the upper hand at lowering your risk of getting cancer, and other life threatening diseases.

...Women's Health...

With the results of two studies that have questioned the value of calcium pills, vitamin D, and low fat diets. Women are left wondering what to do now. I don't profess to have all the answers, but I do have an Aunt that is 77 yrs. old, and has been there. She has never had a broken bone, and is still very healthy. What is it that has kept her from falling among the average. Well asking her, was the answer for me, and now I'll share those answers with you.

1. Take Calcium, and vitamin D supplements daily.

2. Eat what you want, but in small portions. Like instead of three major meals a day, eat six small meals a day.

3. Stay away from processed foods as much as possible, so as not to over-load your body with chemicals and toxins from the steps taken to process these foods. All those premade packaged food is nothing but junk that offers you no nutritrients.

4. If you intend to smoke daily, and drink acoholic beverages in a reasonable amount (like she still does today even). She said to be sure and stay active, and cleanse your body of toxins about once a month. She does this by sweating, and drinking filtered water all day, for one day out of the month.

5. Don't use sweeteners, they give you memory loss, and poison your system. Use regular sugar, or honey.

6. Stop worrying about it all so much. The stress from this alone will weaken your bodies natural defenses.

7. Finally for about a year now, she said, she has been drinking Fruta Vida juice every morning. To get the benefits of the antioxdants and nutrition it provides as a compliment to her diet.

She said that when it comes to women's health doctors don't know beans about it. Women should just stick together and tell each other what works and what doesn't. So there you have it. I know what I'm going to be doing.

...Lactose Intolerance...

...Lactose Intolerance...
When most people think of Lactose, what comes to mind is usually basic information that's not particularly interesting or beneficial. But there's a lot more to it than just the basics.

Truthfully, the only difference between you and the experts is time. If you'll invest a little more time in reading, you'll be that much nearer to expert status when it comes to Lactose.

Does drinking milk bloat you up with enough gas to float around the world in 80 days? Does eating ice cream wake your neighbor from his afternoon nap caused by the subsequent intestinal rumblings? Does a cheese pizza in your belly produce enough diarrhea worthy of a laxative study? If so, you probably have lactose intolerance. Like the majority of humans that get some degree of intolerance to dairy products, your small intestine doesn't produce enough lactase, the natural sugar found in dairy products. But never fear, it's not dangerous. There is good news. You can have your ice cream and eat it, too. Here's how.

The obvious thing to do is decrease the amount of milk and dairy products you eat until your symptoms go away. Yet be sure to take calcium. Also never drink milk alone. Try to take your dairy products in small amounts with your meals. Eat yogart the organisms that make yogart what it is, also produce lactase to digest the lactose contained in yogart. You can also buy and add lactase to your milk or dairy products. The problem with this though is whether you add enough lactase or not. The big one is cheese. Hard cheeses are the best because they're fermented the most, and cheese has less lactose than milk.

I don't know if there's a growing interest in Lactose, but at least when people start looking for more information about it, you'll be in a position to meet their needs.

Did you know that the human body is being loaded with toxins everyday. You can say yea right. Yet it's true. We load our bodies with poisons and toxins from everything from vaccines, nonprescription and prescription drugs, tap water, water we shower with, swim in. Even from chemicals put in our food supply. The list just goes on and on. I also discovered that just doing the few things below have helped me become a more healthier person today.

Here are some tips to help counter act some of this noxish mix of toxins we subject ourselves to every day:

1. Drink eight full glasses of the purest water you can find a day.

2. Walk at least an hour a day. This makes your heart stay in shape.

3. Practice deep breathing. Your lungs need to be used. Deep breathing stimulates the immune system.

4. Sweat - I mean sweat until your dripping at least once a week. This is the best and most natural way to eliminate toxins from your body.

...Blasted Earache...

Plugged eustachian tubes (which lead from the back of the throat to the middle ear) are the most common cause of earache. The situation is usually aggravated by a cold, sinus infection, or allergy. Well it's a fact, earaches are worse at night, and the reason is because at night your lying down and those eustachian tubes I told you about can no longer drain naturally into the back of your throat.

What to do:

1. Sit up- A few minutes up right will decrease the swelling and start the tubes draining. Swallowing will ease the pain.

2. Warm some oil to body temperture- Baby oil or mineral oil will work. Then dropping a drop or two of oil in the offending ear will help lessen the pain.

3. You can also count on pain killers- (acetaminophen, or ibuprofen) will usually buy you time until you can get to a doctor.

CAUTION: Never drop fluids into your ear if you think the ear drum may be ruptured or punctured.

...The Blah's...

Have you ever just had the blah's? You know not quit depressed, but could go there if something negative dared to happen. Well your not alone, people deal with this everyday at sometime in their life, and do you know what the first thing they do for it is? If you said go to their doctor, you are right. How scary is that? There is a perfectly natural way to counter- act the blah's without having to take any kind of drugs at all. So if you find yourself with the blah's try this instead.

1. When you wake up smile, and stretch every part of your body.

2. Take a shower and hum a little tune, and dress in some bright colors.

3. Change the way you think, especailly at work. Go to work smiling and peppy ready and willing to help anyone, even if it's not your job.

4. Doing these few things, not letting anything get you down will not only make for a happier day for you, but for others that you are around all day to.

5. Just getting excited about whatever it is your doing is catching. You will find others around you doing the same suddenly.

6. All this good energy that you started and fed to others will get so high that the blah's are totally forgotten, and become history.

Just try it. You'll be glad you did. Those who create good energy and feelings around them seem to have good things happen to them, just leading to more good energy and happiness.

...High Blood Pressure...

About 30 million people in the United States have high blood pressure. That makes it the third most prevalent chronic condition in the nation, right behind sinusitis and arthritis.
These remedies below are to help those with mild hypertension (high blood pressure) attain control over their condition.

1. Watch your Weight - over weight people tend to be three times more likely to acquire high blood pressure in their life time.

2. Shake the Salt habit - yes to much of a good thing can kill you. Use salt for it's health properties only...don't go overboard.

3. Pas the Potassium please - Increased levels of this mineral may be valuable in helping control high blood pressure.

As for more remedies that are safe to do on your own, these here above are about it. The rest are best to be given and monitored by your doctor.
