...Stress...

Do you feel burned-out, beaten, or whipped with a wet rag. I know you know what it feels like to be on the battle ground of day to day struggles. It just seems like a endless circle of never getting ahead, and staying there is like looking at a dim light at the end of a long tunnel. It leaves us with very little energy for what the rest of life has to offer for sure. Yet trying these tips could help you reach the light at the end of that tunnel.

1. Work on your attitude: The important thing to remember about stress is that in most cases it's not whats out there thats the problem, it's how you react to it.

2. Learn to relax: Easier said than done...Try this, starting from the top to the bottom think of each part of your body tense it up, then let it relax. Then just lay there and enjoy the release it provides.

3. Breathe: Take the time each day to do some deep breathing, then relax and let your mind run until it becomes still. Enjoy this for about 15 minutes.

4. Stay as healthy as possible: Drink filtered water. Plenty of juices, and eat well by staying away from fast foods, and packaged foods, eat more fresh foods than any of the others.

...Heat Exhaustion...

Each Summer people tend to spend a lot of time in the sun pushing themselves beyond safe limits. The not uncommon result is heat exhaustion: The excessive loss of body fluid results in a rise in body temperature. No one is immune to heat exhaustion. Even our best conditioned athletes have to deal with it. So what to do about it?

Tips:

1. Get out of the sun - find shade to rest in as often as possible.

2. Drink water - not gulped down but a little at a time.

3. Eat fruit and drink fruit juices - They have a fairly high water content
and a good salt balance.

Doing these three things will keep heat exhaustion away all Summer long. Better to be safe than sorry.

...What Does Stress, Psoriasis, and Meditation Have In Common?...

The link between Stress and Psoriasis has been recoginized by doctors and patients long ago. Many people that have psoriasis report that during times of stress their symptoms worsen. The best natural method I can find for any kind of relief is Meditation.

Meditation use to be seen as a religious practice, but not anymore. Today millions of people are enjoying the health benefits meditation provides. The easiest and the most simple method that even a child can do seems to work the best. Just follow these simple steps below:

1. Sit in a upright position or lie on your back.
2. Breathing through your nose, inhale very slowly for a count of 4.
3. Hold about 3 seconds.
4. Exhaling through your mouth, release slowly for a count of 4.
5. Pause for about 3 seconds after exhaling, before starting the cycle over again.

Oh yeah! Don't try and make your mind go blank, just relax and let your thoughts run until they just run out.

Doing this for about 15 minutes every morning before starting your day will leave you nothing to lose but stress, and everthing to gain from some much needed relief of Psoriasis symptoms.

Stress is on the rise. Is it any wonder? With tensions flying high about the war in Iraq, and the possible run in with Iran, rising gas prices, and the cost of living going way beyond the rise in pay stress is going out the roof. So lets ease the tension some. If not for yourself at least for your loved ones.


1. Work on your Attitude - The single most important point about stress is that in most cases it's not what's out there that's the problem, it's how you react to it. Stress can be just like a roller coaster ride if you let it.

2. Think Positive - When feeling uncertain think about past achievement. It will boost your confidence back up.

3. Take time to Breath deep - Each day do some Belly breathing. It's a useful trick to defeating anxiety and nervousness.
