...Allergies...

An Allergy is what happens when your eyes itch and run, your nose plugs up and starts dripping, and your lungs wheeze and burn.
Allergies seem to come in almost infinite variety. Yet most fit into three basic categories: Contact, food, or inhalant allergies. Well, contact and food allergies you can either avoid those things that you come in contact with that break you out, and not eat foods that do the same or worse. You can also receive allergy shots from your doctor for these as well. Yet what about inhalant allergies? These are a bit harder to releive or avoid. The four biggest airborne trouble makers are house dust, pollen, pet dander, and mold. Here's a few tips that I hope will help.

1. Dehumidify your home with a dehumidifier. Keeping things dry, and will help put a stop to or ease some of your allergy symptoms.
2. Seal your winter bedding or summer bedding in plastic to store, and when in use be sure to run them in the dryer for 30 minutes at least once a week.
3. Throw out your carpets and buy throw rugs. You'll eliminate the very thing that holds the most dust mites, mold, pollen, and pet dander in your home.
4. Wash your mattress pads often in hot water.
5. Then if all else fails wear a face mask when cleaning and out doors.

I also must say this. If you are having any major problems or compilications due to allergies this could be what is called Anaphyactic shook. You should immediately see your doctor or go to the ER.
