...Spring is Back and so is The Sunburn...
Coming back into Spring is not only when all the outdoor fun begins again. You don't just burn to get into all that sunshine and fresh air either. You are also having to deal with the affects of it all to. Like the dreaded sunburn. Sunburns are a common malady among all the beach combers, and sun tanners. So these few kitchen cabinet remedies should come in handy.
1. Tea Bags on the eyelids-soaked in cool water works good on the swelling and pain.
2. Lettuce-I know how odd, but works well. Boil some in water, strain, then let the liquid cool several hours in the refrigerator. Dip cotton balls into the liquid and gently press or stroke onto the sunburned skin.
3. Cornstarch - This is the best. I've used it myself. Add enough water to cornstarch to make a paste, and apply it directly to the sunburn. Later rinse in a cool shower, then reapply again.
Have a wonderful Spring and Summer, and be careful in the sun.
