Are We Being Denied?

Are we being denied alternative treatments or life saving medicines by our drug companies? In honesty I don't think so. Okay they may down play some of our natural remedies, yet they also use a lot of them to create or make some of our prescribed medicines. For instance I know that 25% of all prescribed medicines comes from just 40 plants out of the Amazon rainforest. The National Cancer Institute reported that 70% of the roughly 3,000 plants found to be active against cancer cells are found in the Amazon rainforest. So in reality - no they are not denying us anything.
